Based in Appledore, Kent, the original Gusbourne estate dates back to 1410. In 2004, Andrew Weeber took over the estate with a clear vision and a single goal: to create English Sparkling Wines that would stand up alongside the very finest offerings from across the globe. Thirteen years later, Gusbourne supplies wines for leading restaurants such as The Fat Duck, Le Manoir Aux Quat'Saisons and Le Gavroche and the wines are stocked in Berry Bros & Rudd, Selfridges, Harvey Nichols and Fortnum & Mason.
Come visit us to explore the vineyards, meet the people behind Gusbourne and enjoy some of our award-winning English Sparkling Wines. Book one of our hosted tours to learn just what it takes to make world-class English Sparkling Wine. The tour will take you through our vineyards, the winery and will end with a tutored wine tasting. If you’d rather explore at your own pace, you might prefer a self-guided walking tour. There’s no booking required – simply arrive, take a map and venture out. Then, once you’re done, head back to enjoy a glass of wine overlooking the vineyards.
Our tasting room, The Nest, is open to visitors all year; feel free to drop by to taste our wines, which are available to purchase by the glass, bottle or case.
